Bias FX on the iPhone
I'm immensely sad. I have a spanky new 6S, all set up with my apps on it, only to find out that the two guitar modellers I love the mostest, Bias FX and Flying Haggis, I can't get on the phone. Nuts. Back to Amplitube on the phone. I see bias amp works on the phone, but what's the point of the amp with no effects? Anyone heard anything about FX having a phone version.

You can always get JamUp if you need effects for your Bias amps, though JamUp effects are mono. JamUp is still great, though
I did install JamUp, but don't want to pay for a bunch of stuff in yet another guitar app.
Tonestack works on the phone, and it's just as good as BIAS FX IMO.
Would be great if they made this universal! Until then Tonestack is a great alternative for the phone/iPad.
I don't think ATM they have any plans on making it for iphone. At least on FB they alluded to that. They've got hardware they are working on, I think a Drum app, a new mixing/mastering app. Who knows what else.
If you want to do anything along the lines of Metal, Tonestack won't cut it. Anything else, it shines through. IMO.
The original Bias Amps app does have an iPhone version. You could run that as an IAA instrument/effect inside of Tonestack. The result would be a Bias amp and cab with Tonestack effects and pedals.
/\ I do that all the time..
Imo Tonestack is amazing and can pretty much do anything you need. Especially if you mess with the input and outside setting in the app. Too high an input makes distortion break up in strange ways.
Honestly tonestack is my favorite so far tho. The pitch change pedals are the only ones that work right on the ios (jamups whammy pedal tracking is terrible and it can only so one note not chords!! Get the fuck outta town).
Also has the biggest selection of effects pedals 101 atm I think. Tons of options. Lot their RAT distortion clone. So cool.
And yes you can run any app as an IAA in your tonestack chain.
Try tonestack GO if you want a free demo.
Also I agree. Developers are totally messing up by restricting their apps to ipad.
I don't ever want an Ipad!. Theyre clunky and huge and ugly looking at shows. Its 2016. My iPhone 6s Plus should be large enough. If it's not then you're just bad at designing UI that isn't cluttered.
these developers think we're underdeveloped neanderthals who need giant childish buttons. I can use small menus and I'd rather do that than carry a giant iPad everywhere I go.
I'm just glad I'm not the only avid universalist! The Pluses really are a revelation in what is pocketable. Hopefully this is a growing market that developers will address in kind![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Theres got a be a way to include plus phones in the ipad category somehow. Its really frustrating when you have a giant screen and tons of computing power and the app store says "sorry. Ipad only".
Since my ipad purchase, I haven't made one song on my ipods/phone, or even played my guitar through them. ipad has been my go to ATM.
When are these developers gonna start making stuff universal. Its rediculous to have these giant tablet sized phones and no apps that support them
I messaged their support, here's the response they gave me. I think the best way is to as many people as possible show interest to them so they maybe prioritize this development.
All the best

Do you plan to make Bias FX on iOS compatible with the iPhone? I'm a huge fan but would love to see it on the phone also.
If so, do you have any planned launch date?
All the best!
Guilherme
I can't/don't see this happening. Hope I'm proven wrong, I wouldn't purchase it again to use on iphone. I would assume if it ever came to be, it'd be a separate purchase like Bias Amp is.

Not quite sure why you blame the devs. They obviously don't see the money in it, or they would. Nothing that says they have to do a thing.
They don't but I do hear this complaint a lot
