iOXAudio for El Capitan
Hey everyone,
I made a little traybar utility for OS X which exposes the Inter-Device-Audio feature introduced with El Capitan and iOS 9. It's a built-in way to enable Audio via USB Lightning. Unfortunately up to now this has been hidden deep inside the Audio-MIDI-Setup, so I decided to bring it more upfront with this little utility.
You can grab the .app from:
https://github.com/sieren/ioxaudio/releases/tag/1.0
or read a little more about it here:

Made the whole thing open-source as well. (Bare with me, it's just an after-work evening-hack ;-))
(Plus I guess most of you, just like me, revert to the superior Studiomux/MusicIO for more serious ios-desktop-audio work)
Cheers,
Matt

Very nice. Thanks saves me from scripting something myself with Automator and Apple Script.
Absolutely awesome. Thank you!
Thanks man! Totally appreciate it.
You know what bugs me about Apple's implementation?
If the setting is OFF, iPhone / iPad doesn't appear as an unavailable Audio input in your daw, so you need to go to settings every time you connect the phone.
I totally agree. I hope they do this right in OSX 10.12 .. there's loads of things to be improved here.
But hey it works it just works. I love it that they did open up to allow this.
