Was hoping Feb would be kinder than Jan
RIP
All 'n All is an old favourite album. RIP.
Those swirling capes, funky grooves and smiling faces are permanently imprinted on my childhood landscape. Thank you, Mr. White.
We need to take down 2016 before any more rock icons are knocked off. Maybe if Don McLean survives he can write a new anthem about the year the music died ...
Sad news, again, just hope they're throwing one mighty gig.......
Just wait until April.
It being the cruelest month and all...
RIP, Mr White
Good observation...for a modern update though, what rhymes with Tesla? As in "Drove my Tesla to the .....?"
Plaza?
Best 'za?
Guest spa?
"Drove my Tesla to the wrestler's house of bubblegum pride." Might as well throw some props to the Rowdy one. Second half of 2015 weren't none too kind, neither.
Or for the 2016 purist, "Drove my Tesla to the vespers where Snape used to preside." For dear Mr. Rickman.
"And those Bowie-knife boys were drinking Lemmies with Frye ..."
"Do you remember that White September, when we said, 'Let's groove all through December'
Never suspecting some Joker could ever steal our Ace."
@JeffChasteen -- I like "guest spa" -- LOL
@eustressor - O-oh, maybe a whole new song (collab) inspired by Mr. McLean's work?
It would have to be Epic. Maybe even more than that - out of respect for Mr. White's mad epicity.
RIP Maurice White. I saw EW&F when they came to the Royal Albert Hall two years ago (without Maurice obviously). They were awesome but with Maurice they would have been super awesome. Big loss.
