Audiobus forum remix thread
Prompted by a suggestion in another thread I thought it might be a fun exercise to create a space where people can remix each other's music.
So to start things off I have rendered stems out of Auria for this track:
If anyone would like to remix it, the stems are here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3055509/Feel The Breeze 2016_stems.zip
I've taken all of the reverbs and delays off of the vocals in the stems.
There's no rules, you can do a straight mix that just tries to make the song sound as good as possible, or you can re-arrange the track, move things around, take stuff away, add stuff, mash it up, whatever you like.
I'm hoping I can learn from other people's interpretations and ears, as I'm sure that hearing how others approach this mix will teach me a lot.
And of course this is not all about me - if anyone else wishes to submit tracks for remixing then please do.

Huh, this is a cool idea for a thread!
I am by no means going to take part in it ATM though, for a few reasons.
I can barely get my own songs done right now.
Have you heard my offerings? No one wants me messing around with their stuff, I am quite sure. lol....
But.............. I can't wait to see what everyone who partakes comes up with! Good stuff...
@richardyot
Can I download these from my iPad? Clicked on the link and nothing appears
Might not be possible to do it from Safari as the zip file is 680 meg. If someone knows a way to download via Audioshare or Dropbox then please chime in, but otherwise you might need to do it from a computer.
@Fruitbat1919 You might be able to download the zip file with Goodreader or Winzip, then use "Open In" to send it all to Auria (if that's what you're using).
Tried a few things, but no joy. This is one of the reasons why Apple need to take a long hard look at iOS, if they want people to buy the Pro or for certain sectors to take the iPad seriously.
Did you try
Just waiting a really long time (while it downloads without any indication of progress) and then "opening in" app of choice
Or go to the Dropbox web page and copy it to your own Dropbox
Then use the Dropbox app. Wait a long time and then open in
Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Will try again
Waiting might not work if Safari can't hold the file in RAM though. Not sure about that but it sounds likely. Did you try the Goodreader app? Otherwise doing it via the Dropbox website might work.
Icab iCab Mobile (Web Browser) by Alexander Clauss
https://appsto.re/gb/mKwxs.i is good as well. I tried downloading there. Says it would take about 11 minutes.....
It's putting something into memory as available memory has dropped, but will try another browser.
Cool idea @richardyot. I will most likely be partaking in this and see what happens! This is probably one of my favorites of yours by the way. Your vocals in the chorus are really good.
Cool - really looking forward to hearing what you do with it
Love the idea...
I am 3 tracks late for FAWM and 1 for Emily Needs' 1 Song a Month challenge... but I may give it a try
