w/ in app purchase for "effects" at $0.99

If you have trouble finding it like I did, search for the developer instead "Tony Kirke" it still didn't bring it up, but brought up his other app "Audio Filter", goto it and then the Related tab show his other apps and its there. Stupid AppStore, you do an exact search of an exact name and not only is it not near the top of the results, its not even listed! (For me anyway) and I went through all results for both iPad and iPhone

Note: I can't seem to find an IAP, but the AppStore lists one...

  • or you could hit Simon's link? No, I can't see and in app thing either

  • No I have ad blocker on my wifi that breaks the AppStore links

  • Doesn't work in audiobus effects slot, throws a warning.

  • Well it seems to have started working now... You just have to wait a few minutes, or post a negative comment in the audiobus forum?

  • I also had a warning but then it started working again. I'm not finding it very intuitive to work with.

  • Number 1 on the delete to free up space list.

  • Looks like the app has just been created.

And is free while the dev soughts out the bugz and finishes the effects.(puts it out for free/we beta test....good idea)

If he pops round,he's sure to get some useful feedback

    I like it.

    Really like the UI....

Controls are subtle,a bit sluggish but this has got potential.

  • It doesn't work , next ...

  • Love the icon, very "I don't give a..."

  • I thought the icon was a knockoff, but I don't recall where I had seen it before. Still love it though.

    Iconic ad from the 80's

  • Maxell tape add! I was surprised to see it used. Some kind of copyright infringement I would think.

  • Great blast from the past @mandrakonian!

damn! i saw it and meant to reply this morning, but got held up. can never forget this ad.

  • @mandrakonian Perfect, yes!

  • That ad is iconic. Known, to this day, as "BLown Away Guy".

As soon as I saw it in 1980 I went and bought the poster. Which is the original, 36" x 23", Steve Steigman his own version, not the ad with Maxell's text on it. I just Googled for it and my print is even rarer than the one with the ad copy on it. And only found one of those, at $450. Little recent reprints however are cheap.

Been framed in my studio ever since. I look at it (or at least see it) every day. Inspiring.

  • The UI is not very intuitive IMO. At the very minimum it should have relevant values on the controls such as the delay, reverb etc. for delay time in ms not %.
You have 2 choices for the app in Audiobus. One for the filters and one for the effects. Tony is probably a very good programmer, but is he a musician who knows how important a recording workflow is?
It looks like there's some serious math going on behind the scenes and I will hang on to see what happens in the near future. Would happily pay for the app if it gets better.
