Does anyone have this? If so, what are your thoughts? The reviews in the app store aren't favorable at all.

Yeah, scary reviews and IAP pricing.
Yeah....$50 US on IAPs!!
Yes, bad reviews and just one fake like looking screenshot. Normally i don't see the provider info when i use an app. The support button also end ...nowhere...not sure but it really looks not very serious.
Pretty sure that Tim Webb said the interface is buggy as hell.
I'm going to hold off until the reviews improve.
It used to be a very legitimate app from Bitheadz. Do a search for Bitheadz products. Back in the day, it was one of the first true software samplers on the market, and I was a very avid supporter. Then, the Bitheadz company died and disappeared without a single word. It has been unknown what happened to them for years. Suddenly the product is back as an app for iOS. I too haven't purchased it, and don't plan on purchasing it until things get more solid and stable, but the technology behind it is very powerful and very legit. I watch with interest to see what will happen with this app. :-)

I used to have this, and it was very good software for the time, but what little interest I have for this app is tied up in nostalgia more than anything. I'd love to have some of those old DS-1 sounds back at my disposal, not to mention my own patches from way back. That being said, the interface and stability will keep me away unless they make some drastic changes. When Bitheadz went tits up, I did manage to contact one of the developers and he gratiously helped me keep Unity running for a couple more years, so if that guy's still involved with the project there may be hope– assuming they can get a UI designer.
Then all I'd need is SoundEdit 16 and Deck II on my iPad and I'll be all set!
Thanks for the background on this guys. Since I have no nostalgia tied into this, it will be easier to sit on the sidelines to see what becomes of it.
