I hope this is not considered spam cause spamming this beautiful forum is the last thing I want to do.
there were a few threads lately praising the joys of vinyl records and/ or ways to achieve a record-like sound so I thought that maybe this could be interesting for some people.
if you ever go to vienna and you like vinyl records, you should consider paying a visit to the Supersense shop. among other things (like awesome polaroid/ instant cameras/ film) you can record hand cut master records there - either using their studio for recording your performance, bringing your digital soundfiles or bringing your analog tape.

The Missus is determined we should go ('cake in Vienna before I die...' etc etc) so this would give me a reason. Perhaps we need a thread like this where folks can post places their S.O. wants them to go and others here can chime in with 'what to do when you find yourself in...' etc etc.
Vienna's an absolutely gorgeous city. Had the privilege of visiting there a couple of times on business some years back. Stunning! Make sure you go @JohnnyGoodyear - and take the missus too
