  • watched this and it sold me over the cubasis....

  • I subscribe and it's worth it. .Perhaps there will be a newer one for Auria Pro

The links state they are for "Auria Pro" Are these not new videos? just the old ones re-titled?

EDIT: a quick scan of the descriptions makes me think these are in fact new videos for Auria Pro! I see titles like "MIDI tracks" and "MIDI piano roll" which are only in Auria Pro. Looks like a great resource.

  • Just curious if they are using the latest version (2.03) of AP, with the updated editor functions etc? I'd rather not bother if they are based on an earlier version.

  • looks like its an updated version based on the date there, so seems it is indeed the 2.0.

ive a sub to the site so i will be watching this. the guy who did this also did the older version as well. he knows his stuff...

Def it's Pro, but unless it's 2.03, the MIDI editing won't be current, and AFAIK that is a huge difference.

  • Just downloaded the app. I can see there's a 10 day free trial but you must open a Linkdin account to access it. And they need all your credit card details. And if you don't cancel before the trial is over, they charge you. They also make it difficult to see what the subscription prices are. I've searched for the prices and I can't find them.....
Don't like any of those things. Seems a bit cloak and dagger. I like to know what I'm getting in to before I give anyone my credit card details. I believe you have to subscribe for access to their whole site. You can't just pay to watch the Auria Pro tutorials. It seems you have to pay a subscription fee for EVERYTHING!!!
It would be so much easier if you could get access to the tutorial you wanted to see via an IAP. No subscriptions. No credit cards.
    I'm definitely out.

I used the trial without LinkedIn account before signing up for subscription. The details were pretty clear. The subscription can be cancelled at anytime without any problems.
    Detailed pricing is here. http://www.lynda.com/promo/trial/default.aspx?lpk35=8006&btn=NMHP_blocks_V2

  • Wow. Couldn't find those prices anywhere on the app. Thanks for the link mgmg4871. How did you use the trial without a Linkdin account? Did you have to give them your credit card details? Maybe it's different if you do it through the app like I'm trying to do. Thanks for your help. The Lynda video tutorials do look great.

  • it seems that they would also accept PayPal

"For individual customers, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. We do not accept checks or wire transfers for the payment of individual accounts."

    Link

  • You can go directly to the website at Lynda.com. You do have to give credit card info as in most trials.. They are a reputable company though, and cancelling is easy. I sign on only when I plan to spend a full month going through tutorials. There are many music related, and professionally done.

  • All kinds of useful other videos too... Garrick Chow is great... However I didn't see any "pro" features explained..Did I miss something? No "Lyra", sequencing , time stretch etc

  • I agree, they look great! They're definitely based on 2.03, the most current version of Auria Pro.

    Rim

  • Thanks, Rim, my bad.. I guess Garrick integrated the new stuff tightly into the prior material, Including wearing the same shirt, lol! :)

  • Does Auria have it's own sample browser, and if so does it allow you to import folders for custom organization?
