Auria Pro input Matrix?

I understood the input and output Matrix perfectly the first time around.. Now I don't anymore.. It's track vocal on track one... But if I arm track two and push the button on the Matrix it doesn't budge. What am I not getting? I know the horizontal row is "physical input" and verical row is "tracks". I'm a bit confused because I think of" physical ins" and "outs" in terms of hardware instead of which there are none on iPad, save for the headphones e Jack... Can someone explain it to me briefly? Thanks... Or refer me to a link of some sort?

  • Really can't understand what are you trying to achieve. Are you in normal mode or Audiobus? The output matrix it is of no use if you don't have a multichannel interface and also does the Input one as long as you don't do some AB routing.

  • I'm in normal mode and that explains it, especially the physical input part.. I wish the manual had explained the link between the matrix and the interface... . Thank you, mschenkel. it!

  • I think you're saying that track one looks/functions as it should, right?

What exactly is different about how track 2 looks when compared to track 1? Maybe post a screenshot of each?

  • It's the same.. But as msschenkel.it so ably explains, it's largely irrelevant if you're not working with a multichannel Interface

  • There's really little need for the input or output matrix anymore with Auria 2.x. You can set the input and outputs much more easily right on the track itself by tapping on the input and output drop-downs on each track.
