Soundprism Electro or Soundprism Electro Mini for iphone?

I already have Soundprism Electro Mini for Iphone. Not sure if I should get Soundprism Electro universal version also. Whats the difference? I can't tell from the app store descriptions. Soundprism Electro is 8.99 while Soundprism Electro Mini is 2.99. Can someone explain the differences? Thanks.

  • This is all for iphone btw.

  • Electro Mini uses far less resources.
That is the only difference that I see.

  • Well the difference beeing is that one is Universal and the other is not.
Content wise they are the same on the iPhone but not in the iPad. They iPad versions feature the seperate playable lead sound you don't get with the iPhone versions.

Lol. So why is one 2.99 and the other is 8.99 if it's one hundred percent identical?

  • Because one can be used on one device (mini) and the other on two. Its not the same code to make an app universal.

Before, Mini and iPad version were seperate now the iPad version got updated to be universal.

So if you buy that version you can use it on your iPhone or and your iPad whereas the mini version was done for the iphone thus is lower in cost.

Ask @Sebastian if you have more questions.

    Have a good one.

Just want to clarify, I see in the app store that mini is about 20MB where as universal is 25MB, but is there any other difference in resource usage you've noticed. I'm not aware of a way to measure ram or cpu usage unless the app itself decided to report that. So if there's a tool, I'd love to know about it :)

  • If I recall correctly, after usage mini would register in memory storage at around 90 mb while electro would average 240 mb or so
