Tranposing/capo midi keyboard live
I play a midi keyboard with guitar chord and lyric sheets sometimes. With a guitar, I can adjust the key with a capo and play the chords easily. But with the keyboard, i'm not sure what the best way to capo/transpose the chords to the right key. Some apps like thumbjam let you do it in their settings, but others I can't find an option and don't know how to do it, other than trying to figure out the chords in my head as i go along, which doenst always work out well. Is there any easy way to capo/tranpose the key for midi keyboards? Any apps designed for this? or is it possible to do this in a desktop daw like garageband?

Transposing on a keyboard is a real pain. Some MIDI keyboards have a live transpose function, as do some apps like Auria Pro, and also iGrand Piano and iElectric.
Definitely check your midi controller manual first, many keyboards have transpose function. If not, check out iMidipatchbay. This app has a ton of great features for midi work and it lets you transpose up or down in 1/2 steps. The transpose function affects the whole rig, so if you were layering many parts it would transpose all of them at once, very handy.
@dan151 - FreEWI from Audeonic is free and should be able to transpose +/- 12. Limitation is it will transpose all midi (I believe ) so if you have multiple apps using different midi channels, it probably won't work for you needs.

Midi Bridge by Audeonic is much more robust, and I'm sure it can handle what you want to do, but it's a bit more complicated.
