Gadget ..

I've had Korg gadget on iPad since the day it was released ... Ashamed to say I tinkered for a couple of hours then forgot about it.

I downloaded the new release to my iPhone 6s this morning and spent a few fun hours with it. Yes, it's tiny on the 6s but very intergratable with other apps now it has link.

Just one question... The BPM adjust ... Is it possible to type in the BPM ? The input for BPM is virtually impossible to set quickly/ accurately with the scroll function.

  • I
don't think you can type but try to tap on the upper or lower part of the tempo rectangle to increase or decrease by one and do the same right hand side of it for finer adjustments. It's like there's 4 buttons.

But anyway: even if you don't see it, you can adjust bpm with incremental steps(+/-1) if you tap on the upper/lower side of the tempo cell

  • Yeah that's what I've been doing but it's gotta be the most tedious of all BPM inputs.

Maybe it's my sausage fingers and the iPhone screen not getting on ☺️

I'll take your DM1 tempo input and raise you an iMS-20 tempo input :D

He He, Ahh yes that one, this works 99% of the time, the other 1% the quick swipe isn't quick enough and my tempo is now at 240bpm instead of 75 LMAO

Or use rotary instead of linear and drag away so you can be pretty precise

Ok, ok, I concede that maybe DM1 is harder than iMS20 to set tempo......

But neither is harder than setting the tempo of the drummer in my old band

    :D :D :D :D
