Should I buy module?
Really tempted by the 50% off. But also put off by the iap on an already expensive app. I will only use it as gadgets in gadget. It's 30.99 @ 50% off in Aussie $$

Probably only expensive if you need the money for something like food or heating. Doubtful it's expensive in music software terms of bang for buck.
@Buska I use Module all the time, yes for Gadget, but as a goto for much IAA-wise. It's a beautiful workhorse (for me). And it's summer in Oz, no need for heat. And food? Music is the food of love, right?
Gotta have it, but I'm having big probe remote installing it to my phone. Will try in the morning..:
This is a great bread and butter app; covers a lot of territory. Don't be turned off by the IAP, just don't buy them! The stock features are worth it at 50% off IMHO.
it is a nice expansion to gadget. I'm happy with it.
Check out the free version, Module Le and see if it's worth buying.

If you love how Gadget works (easily and reliably add multiple instruments, state saving), adding Module's acoustic instruments is a simple way to open up the app to wider styles of music. I know Ivory and the organ IAP's are awesome, but the default sounds are very good and well worth $20.
Remote installed this morning yay!!!!!
I love using iGrand as a stand-alone instrument with the MIDI controller keyboard, but it'd be nice to have Module for the Gadget modularisation. Is Module going to give me a comparable stand-alone experience? I am tempted by the sale price.
I would say so. I use this as a stand alone, mainly for piano sounds. When I am playing a gig where I only need a handful of classic sounds, I turn off all of my other apps including iGrand and I am able to get through the gig with the one app and no midi channel switching.
Thanks @mptrin - I'll probably take the plunge later then...
Blam! Module downloading now!
I have 15 keyboard/synth apps on my iPad, and I am not a keyboard player. Still, I am tempted by this sale as well. Yeah, it's an illness alright.
I am curious as to how the Module piano sounds would compare to say, Lyra's pianos in Auria Pro. Also, those with Gadget and Module...do you find yourself actually using the Module Gadgets? There are already several Gadgets I never use...surely I don't need any more!
It does fill a void (classic keys) that is not otherwise covered in Gadget. It's nice being able to throw in more organic sounds (piano, B3, Rhodes, or Clav) with the more synthetic sounds of Gadget. However, so far in my own projects, I haven't used it in Gadget as much as a stand alone module, but I have yet to really dig into Gadget in general.
