The new Waldorf "Nave" is not here yet!
Just saying....
Comments
Haha....love it!
The 'other' thread was a complete teaser!
OMG OMG!! it's FINALLY!!!! so totally not here...
:-)
But the manual can now be downloaded from the waldorf-music.info site (search on the site for nave manual). An extract - "Further the Wave oscillator can produce perfect a periodic sound up to noisy components." Now it all becomes clear!
Here's the latest word from Rolf (the dev) via twitter.
"Tomorrowatseventeenhundredcentraleuropeansummertime" / Rolf
(Edit: Deciphered that's Thursday 5 PM Central European Time)
Here's link for manual. It's in German though.

Thank you PhilW for the info on the manual
Danke mgmg4871
It's in English as well, now
But just occasionally the translation ends up a little mangled....
5pm CET equals 11am EST (New York/East Coast)
Had no idea Apple let devs know exactly when their review process would be completed.
I'm pretty sure you can either have it random, just submit it and when they approve the app it goes live or your can select a date/time of release and you can hold them I think
Smeeeth: Devs can hold their app after its been reviewed and release it whenever they want. I think only Zuckerberg gets to know when his app/updates are gonna be ready.
More info including sound demos now avaikable on the waldorf site, and from those, it sounds amazing. Launch probably only hours away....

(For the English version)
About 16-17 hrs left. Sounds amazin, can't wait to play around with it!
Anyone know the price ?
Lets guess! I'm gonna go with $0.99 as an intro price a la Moog, based on some comments made by the dev when asked about what iTunes gift cards you would need to buy it, and he answered that any would do for the intro price (something along those lines anyway).
Oh! that would be sweet, ChrisG, but just to be on the safe side, I went out and secured a $30 gift card yesterday, just in case it was released a day early, like some others have been.
Oops! I forgot to guess... I'm going with $5.99 introductory, going up to $29.99 after a few days.
Got no idea, really. As long as they don't charge more than $29.99, I'll be playing it by this time tomorrow.
6.99->14.99
It's 11.99 for the first 5 days then 19.99. Lots of info and videos at Matrixsynth.com. And it gets released on Thursday--Looks and sounds Awesome!

I wonder what Wolfgang Palm thinks..... "leaving all previous attempts at wavetable synthesis severely wanting"
@DaveMagoo Yeah, I thought that was uncalled for. I'd prefer to see them let the App do the talking.
.....and it's Thursday and its still not here yet!
Hi there,
Nave will be released 17:00 CEST latest.
Best
Rolf
Thx Rolf,
That'll save on the constant checking during the day!
Glad to see its a relatively European friendly release time
Should be 11am EST for those of us in eastern US...
