Multiple independent loops
What apps do you know of that offer the ability to have multiple loops with different start times (and preferably lengths) looping simultaneously? Right now I have 2: Everest audio looper and ikaossilator. I know about fugue machine. It's odd to me this isn't common place among most track based daws, sequencers, multi track recorders as this functionality makes it extremely easy to jam out and build up arrangements. It's baffling frankly. If you couple this with the ability to bounce down the loops into one "loop slot" and of course easy triggering of loops, you almost don't even need a timeline to sketch out an arrangement. Add to that the ability to replace recorded material as it loops once the initial length is set for that slot and it's a one way ticket to easy street. Basically if ikaossilator had a high limit to its loops like 32 bars or something and interapp audio i seriously doubt I'd use anything else for sequencing. Anybody else yearning for this type of iOS workflow?

have you tried Loopy HD? I think all you have to do is turn off "synchronize tracks"
Yeah, I use Loopy this way often. The videos for Loopersonic that I've seen show the functionality that you're describing, as well.
I could never get the timing right. I'd be willing to give it another go but last time I tried I was always a second too late on the start recording so I'd end up with little pauses and it wouldn't loop seamlessly. Only way around that would be destructive overdubbing on each pass until I get a good take. Does it do this? It's been awhile.
yep, in Loopy decay settings are available when you "long-press" a loop, then rotate the options that come up till you see "decay" which is like destructive overdubbing if you set the decay at 100%. (then just stop the overdub when you are happy with a take)
Group The Loop maybe
Thanks for the tips guys. I'm gonna give loopy another go with the decay settings and importing loops from other apps. One more question, other than turning synchronize tracks OFF, where should "play from start" be? I'm assuming on so that whenever I trigger a loop it starts from where I've set the beggining? (I.e. Rotating the loop)?
^Yep, I think "play from start" should be ON for your scenario.
If I have overdub after recording on and count out recording on, which one takes precedence? Seems like they are opposites
