What other apps you running in AB?

^@fruitbat1919, no other apps running, iPad just booted, downloaded fieldscaper update, loaded into AB, error 3 times, seems ok now, but definitely not right on first load

Awesome... I love this app...

I think somebody is reading my mind because I was sampling yt stuff last night and was wishing there was a way to trim and edit the samples better and I woke up today and there is...

cassetteur could you confirm the steps of how you are recording yt into fieldscaper?

Anyone else having a problem with the new timeline editing features? Whenever I try to cut, copy, split, etc. I get a dialogue box that says "Operation not completed"

I set FS as the input for AB and record start and stop to manual... In another window I open yt and cue up what I'm going to record and tap the home button to toggle between the yt page and the FS/AB page... I start recording on FS then toggle back to yt and start the vid... When it's done I toggle back to FS and stop it... You have to trim it and it is off the mic but it sounds fine for what I'm doing, it's getting mangled in FS anyway so importing a pristine sample isn't necessary...

I have just tried to split(outside the bus)and it was done effortlessly. If you're trying to do that while fs is loaded into ab, that is probably the issue. Had some kind of if issue with master record trying to convert a file while in ab, having no feedback at all from the app when tapping convert but as soon as I got it out of the bus everything was fine

@mschenkel.it thanks for the suggestion but no luck. I've tried re-installing it as well. Guess I'll hope the developer logs on with some ideas.

I've discovered that "Operation not completed" is only happening with MP3. Converting to wave has solved the problem.
