Music player that supports slide over?

Does anyone know of one? I can't believe that Apples own Music app doesn't support this feature but apparently not since it isn't showing as available in the slide over pane.

I just want a simple music player app that allows me to quickly select songs from my music library on my iPad using slide over, so I don't have to navigate away from my XR18 mixer app.

Good question. Maybe this one? Haven't used it.

    Strange that Podcasts show up.

Edit: On second look the version histories do state that they both have it, sorry and thanks!

I don't think either of them do. I've been checking app descriptions and version histories to see if slide over is mentioned and didn't see it on those. That is what sucks about the App Store. It's a real pain to find anything like this. I once was trying to find a music player that had a volume control that didn't disappear when you plug in an external USB audio interface. Yeah I gave up on that one.

  • I'd whip one up if I was a dev and put it out there for a buck. You can't be the only one out there looking for one. Good luck

I wish nPlayer could do this. I use it for playing music from my NAS.
Some other apps with a player that work but aren't really audio players:
GoodReader, File Explorer, VLC and File Hub

  • Have you tried MyAudioStream or Cesium?

I found FileHub is getting pretty close but it has some important things missing that I need in my player.

  • I ended up using Musis and it worked well enough. There are a few things I'd change about it but it was pretty slick.

Marvis does support Slide-Over and Split-View. Maybe you didn't look thoroughly.
