Cuica sound?
Anyone know of an app with a Cuica sound. It's some type of Latin American rhythm instrument. I have it on my Yamaha MO8 and used to use it to cover Bruno Mars-"Locked out of Heaven." I no longer use the Yamaha, so I need this sound from a tone app, sample or sound font. Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but DrumJam may have it?
There's definitely one on Notion.
Beathawk definitely has cuica sounds but I can't remember wich IAP package has it, I'm not near my iPad.

Click the link above to download the free Brazilian soundfont kit He created years ago. It includes Surdo, Pandeiro, Cuica, Birimbao, and Triangle samples.
Don't know if it's any good though
It's a strange drum type thing by the way.
Thanks so much to each of you!
@Lacm1993, Beathawk actually looks like something I might get a lot of use out of. When you get a chance, and if you remember can you let me know which IAP has the Cuica? I would assume world percussion...but I don't want to spend money on an assumption
Drumjam does not have it.
A few soundfonts out there for cuicas if you have a soundfont player.
Got Beathawk, found the Cuica in the Latin American IAP, set it to pitch, perfect! Thanks again everybody.
BeatHawk's Latin Percusion IAP has about 6 cuica samples. There is also a Cuica Instrument, which loads with all these samples mapped so they only take up one pad slot. If these few samples aren't enough (and personally I find them minimally adequate for an instrument as expressive as of the cuica), you can also trim, tune, and time stretch samples, and load and edit your own samples.

Thanks @Lady_App_titude didn't know about the deeper editing features. I'll add this to my list of apps to learn
Love that this works with Audiocopy as well!
DrumPerfect Pro has cuica in IAP Batucada!
Here's my collection of cool cuica sounds (got it from one of the other forums and those samples are really cool): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jhwkm96v1rq2j23/AACQ-BI-8YQBavgKmBRLhPnta?dl=0
This.
Doesn't garageband have a cuica loop?
Yes, I've actually used AudioCopy to move tracks from Figure to BeatHawk. The steps are somewhat Byzantine, but once you figure it out you feel like you've cracked some secret code or something.
