Playback through BT & Airplay?
I'm guessing this is a FAQ, but I haven't been able to find an answer yet.
It appears that I can playback through a bluetooth speaker, and/or via airplay... with only a couple instrument apps. Most them won't play through the BT speaker or airplay for that matter. Neither AudioBus, AudioShare, or AUM will allow me to playback via BT or airplay.
I know it must be possible, because I opened an AudioShare recording in iOS iMovie, and the sound output through BT and/or airplay, but almost none of my audio utilities, effects, synths, or instruments will playback through BT/airplay. They revert to the device speaker or headphones only.
Is there a workaround for this? If you want to use airplay or a BT speaker for monitoring?
Comments
@skiphunt No workaround yet. I started a thread on this other day about wanting Bluetooth/playlist support for Audioshare. All I do is copy my files into iTunes and that's how I use my Bose headphones or mini sound link for casual monitoring/listening. It takes up a shit load of space though.IMO Bluetooth AirPlay and playlist supporti are a necessity for Audioshare. Sure you could create a whole separate app and incorporate playlists, but it'd look desperate and resemble a cash grab towards loyal customers.
I've got maybe 1 or 2 old apps that actually play through my bluetooth speaker AND an airplay interface to my stereo . Nanologue and I think I've got another one that will... and they're at least 2-3 years old. None of my newer audio apps or audio utilities will play through BT or airplay. Unless there's a setting I'm missing somewhere. It's kind of surprising really.
@skiphunt music studio works, Alchemy works, and, I believe I have two others I am leaving out that I own. That's besides the point. It should be a universal feature in every apps playback preferences.
Agreed.
