Auria in input and output position.
OK guys, I am going to buy Auria, so just have some questions about Auria. I saw it Auria can place in input and output position in Audiobus.
Can I do it like this, record the dry (without effect) guitar sound in to one of the Auria track, put Auria in input then solo it, effect slot will be Jamup and then output Auria and arm 1 of the track, as I play the recorded sound in Auria (at input slot), then in the same time I adjust my effect in Jamup, after I satisfy, I record the whole thing with that effect. Will this kind of "reamping" work in this situation?
Second question is can I import .aiff file from GarageBand? I mean export the .aiff in GarageBand to iTunes, then connect to iTunes PC version to copy it into Auria apps, will it works?
Thanks...

A) yes
dunno, probably
A) Auria lets you select one stereo pair of its mixes to be fed back into the Input slot. That includes all 8 subs, the two Aux sends, and the Master. Which one you select is then switched away from its Main mixdown, which made perfect sense to me after playing with it for a while. But be careful to put Auria in the Output slot first and start it up before selecting the Input slot foldback, which is done from the little blue right arrow icon by Auria on the selection drop-down. Otherwise it picks Sub 1 by default.
Import wav and aiff, yes. Also aff for full projects from Logic or Cubase etc. If you mean GB in iPad, iTunes one track at a time is the nly way, GB only supprts Audio Copy/Paste for import.
@RockingGarage I did a couple tutorial videos on this. In this one I do exactly what you said you wanted to do although I used AmpKit instead of JamUp.
@Ryan: Ya, actually I saw it before I post this, and thanks for your effort. But I try with no luck
I have project in Auria, there are drum tracks, bass tracks and guitar tracks, I solo the guitar track and arm the track I want to record (at here I armed the track that automatic create by Jamup Pro), then start record, after finish, the track is empty.
Is it anything to do with the track I armed?
Did you double check the input and output matrix? Make sure the subgroup is selected in the mixer panel? If all of that is good then I'm not sure what is wrong. :-?
