  • I'll buy it in a heartbeat if it doesn't need external power to run!

  • I can now see that it's a standard 1/8" headphone jack (which obviously makes sense, duh).

Played live quite a bit but not with IOS devices yet.

Looking at the Keith McMillen K-Mix as a possible solution since it'll also be able to replace my mixer.

Definitely one I'm looking at too, not only for live use but for truly portable multitrack recording (ie bus powered).

I know for me the 3 aux send busses will be an upgrade too - for both live and recording usages. Should be much easier to experiment with serial and parallel combinations of FX - both hardware and virtual.

I just tested it and it works fine with no power just a usb cable and the CCK

  • thanks @AndyPlankton ! I'm probably buying it soon then! It's amazing how it doesn't need power when the iRig Pro does!

Novation X station still works for me live..an all in one solution..for a more portable rig I use behringer uca 202 ..although an akai EIE is on the radar as it also does instrument input..

  • I wish I had kept my X-Station 49 - Didn't think I would use it again after I stopped making music on the PC, then this iOS thing came along :|
