Heads-up for FieldScaper
I have been playing with FieldScaper - learning to record sounds from my synth's into an oscillator file. Doing this by way of AudioBus. I had the first 2 oscillators loaded, and was working on the third recording. As I went to the AB panel to switch back to my synth to begin recording, I missed and clicked on FieldScaper's record button. The problem is - this went to the first oscillator and instantly deleted what was there and began recording "empty air"! Whatever was there was GONE!
This is just due to an unfortunate location of the FieldScaper's record button and where the AB control panel appears (Upper left corner). One just has to be very careful as this is a destructive error, should your finger slip. I have sent a note to the dev's via feedback on their site. Hopefully they can have the AB control panel open at another spot on the FieldScraper panel.

You created a new recording, and the original that you thought you lost is saved in your fieldscaper files. Just browse/load it up again.
Anything you record is saved, check by date...
Also there is an option in settings to move the record button to the right if that helps...
Ah - thanks for the info on moving the record button. I hadn't done any explicit saves, as I was just testing... But yeah -.guess there would be an "auto-save".
