Looks great indeed...
But is there a keyboard with controllers more like this one

With just a CCK for the Ipad and AAA batteries on the keyboard to avoid the USB hub ???
Thanks
Just received a Microkey Air 37 today. It's a great little keyboard. So far it has connected fine to every synth app I own. I've had to restart the Bluetooth connection a couple times but that's not a big deal in a studio application. As others have said there's a little latency but I find it very workable. Loving the purchase so far.
That video shows latency. It's not big but it's there. I would prefer a tethered keyboard.
I agree also about the Jamstick via wireless but it's OK if you plug it in via USB.
Has anyone been able to compare the latency of the Korg Microkey Airs to the XKey Airs?
Without the chance to try both first, it's difficult to make a decision since some people say they notice latency and some don't on the Korg.
recently got the microKEY Air 37, wasn't sure what to expect as far as latency. pretty happy with it, though the only previous experience with an external controller keyboard was using a Roland A-49 connected via 5-pin MIDI to my old Alesis io-Dock. i actually noticed a slight bit of latency with that previous setup, so i'm not sure if being "tethered" really helps much at all. with the new Korg Air controller it seems about the same. depending on the app, sometimes i don't feel like there's any latency at all, sometimes it feels like there's just a touch. no big complaints or any regrets that i bought it, very happy with it so far. having a wireless controller is really fantastic. the price on these new Korg wireless controllers is amazing, thinking of getting the two new "Studio" controllers as well.
as for the build quality, not too bad at all. keys feel pretty good, the pitch/mod wheels are ok as well. the pitch wheel has a lot of resistance (feels a bit "hard/stiff"), which might be seen as good or bad depending on what you like.
The latest gadget update lets you set latency as low as 128 which makes it work REALLY well with the microKEY Air
any korg microkey air firmware update that enable the chance of "hardware transpose option" (like buttons compbination..) would be much appreciated :-) it seems to work fine for any other aspect for me
is there any one can help me to see if possible to assign "pitch bend cc control" to the modulation wheel, as to have the chance to "transpose up/down" in "hardware real time" ? :-)
