Yukie - iKaossilator Borderlands Granular - Live Session
Yukie is a track I made over two years ago when I first got my fingers on iKaossilator by KORG. This song is soo slow-paced and I had no idea what to do with it. Until I added Borderlands Granular into the mix!
This morning I was looking out my bedroom window and saw that there was no snow outside. Weather’s getting warmer and my precious snow is melting away. This is basically why I named this track Yukie (雪瑛), meaning snow in Japanese.
This video actually consists of two live performances recorded separately and then combined through some tedious video editing (mostly merging and exporting).
The box to the left was made using KORG iKaossilator and the built in live audio recording function. The box to the right was made possible by loading Borderlands Granular and Reverb FDN into Audiobus.
