Apple March 21st event - New iPad, iPhone, and iOS 9.3
Apple is going to live stream it’s March 21st event at 10am PST. http://bit.ly/1TAzXwZ
They will also be announcing the 9.7 iPad Pro, which is essentially their way of saying the iPad Air 3. There aren’t going to be any more Airs, just Pros. Also a 4 inch iPhone SE.
They will also be announcing an update to iOS. Rumors are that it will be iOS 10. I haven’t read any rumors online that suggests it will have improved music capabilities, but we can always dream. The truth is nobody knows what will be in it.
One thing everybody agrees on though: iOS 10 will be announced this year, even if not on March 21st.

There is no doubt they'll release 10 this year that's no news. I hope iPad Pro mini ships still with 9 on it.
I'm pretty sure they are spot on with a 9.7 iPad Pro, but while they may not call it 'Air', I think they will have a cheaper range that keeps emphasis on looks and thinner body than the Pro series. This probably will just be keeping the Air 2 in the range at a cheaper price as is normal for Apple, then maybe using the SE tag as per the new cheaper iPhone.
It's quite likely naming conventions are going to be similar to the Mac Range with just a year for when the model is released.
I'm thinking Apple will wait with iOS10 / OS X 10.12 news until WWDC'16.
Most likely we'll get iOS9.3 very soon and iOS9.4 will most likely be the base for the iPhone SE since there is no information regarding the SE model in the 9.3 beta-builds.
iOS 9.3 is next to be released. Thats not really a rumor; 4 or 5 beta versions of 9.3 have already been released to developers and public beta users.
iOS 10 would be released normally along with the next major iPhone later in the year, with all the details to be advertised at WWDC in June.
Aw hell, here we go again...
When I max out my air 1 (heretofore known as iPad amateur) then I'll look into a new iPad. Still haven't maxed it out. By then they may even have a file system....ha!
@Hmtx You're right about June I'm sure.
MacRumors has been tracking the visitors running iOS 10 coming to their site. Visits picked up in January and have grown steadily through February. So they are on target for June.

I keep hoping (prolly still in vain) that the next gen iPad Pro will actually have some "pro" capability such as 1 or 2TB of memory rather than a measly 128GB, and an actual SD slot to increase that again and make audio and video file transfers possible. I'm still rocking my Air 1 'cause their idea of Pro just doesn't cut it.
C'mon Apple, get with the program. Reminds me of Billy G's famous "8K should be enough for everyone" sentiment.
Hope that iOS 10 will be only available for ipad air 2 and above ...
I don't much care about 1TB and the like (128gb is plenty for me) but would definitely like to see access to an SD reader. I have a feeling that port remains locked to photos only in the name of security. Meh.
If only there was some real chance to share the very same file instead of making thousands of duplicates would be great.
I'm not sure it really makes sense to call the Air 3 a Pro. Mini, Air and Pro for 7.9, 9.7 and 12.9 works pretty well so why change it? There's still a macbook air even though the 12" macbook is even airier. Not that it matters much to me. But I doubt they'll do that. On the other hand they've done weirder things before. Like when the iPad 3 was supposed to be called the "New iPad"...
