Solo Trumpet

Any apps with convincing solo trumpet sound? Thanks!

  • Thumbjam/iFretless brass(classical)/Heavy brass(big band,funk) ?
Personally I only use thumbjam since it's good enough for my use ( love the scale system) and those apps takes a lot of space on my 32g iPad.

Convincing like a desktop multi-sampler? Not so much for iOS. (I play/ed trumpet by the way). Otherwise as suggested in post above: Thumbjam etc...also I found a few other sounds that are trumpet-like that worked for me in particular situations. Korg's iM1 has a lovely trumpet that I used in a song on my recent album. Other apps with trumpets: Music Studio, Sample Tank, iSymphonic (may not be solo). And I don't have Auria Pro but maybe the sampler in that has a good trumpet sound?

Thanks @TozBourne and pierre! Thumbjam is another one of those apps I've always been interested in and haven't gotten around to purchasing...yet. Although now I'm really interested in the Korg iM1, seems to have a lot of core sounds from what I'm gathering but possibly more features than I need...
