I finally deleted...

With a tearful eye, I finally deleted iSequence today :'(

Some apps you just wait and wait for that update to throw it back into the mix.

Fair well iSequence, I hope we meet again <3

Considering that 'Dagger' was just updated for the desktop and work is apparently ongoing to bring an AUi version for iOS and after that update Sunrizer to be AUi too so he's definitely in the business :)

  • any word on iSequence though, does he frequent the forum?

Don't know but he's somewhat active on FB and Twitter (@beepstreet) though maybe it's not 'full-time work' thus lower priority and he thing called 'everyday-life' takes time too :D

    Sunrizer as AU?Really?

Yup according to twitter feed :)

  • great, thanks. Also dagger looks really good (now).I'm gonna buy it,hope it doesn't take too long untl it shows up.

  • I remember being struck by how responsive isequence was when I first used it, it's still better than allot of other apps out there.

  • Was speaking about multi-mic-input for impaktor, he will make it.. soon or later

he said Q1 a number of times so that should be fairly soon

  • @Fruitbat1919 Feel your pain Mister Fruit. I love iSequence. Can't quite cut it loose just yet...

  • I was kind of angry with iOS audio API (lack of plugins, a lot of bugs), so I started developing desktop stuff.
But... as audio units are here, I'm coming back

    The plan is

    1. Dagger for iOS is slowly approaching alpha
    2. Sunrizer AU
    3. iOS needs a good sequencer :)

I'll jump on the wagon as well. I really like what I've seen of Dagger.

BTW - I saw a picture somewhere of Gary Numan using iSequence. Apparently he uses it as a sketchpad when he's away from the studio.

Great plan for all three! Now here's the big question: Will you be supporting the iPhone? I use my iPhone 6+ exclusively, and it is like having an iPad Micro. It works great, but there IS a shortage of good sequencers for the iPhone currently. P.S. If you need an iPhone beta tester, I'm willing!!

    Nuuuuman Nuuuuuman B)

  • Don't know much about Dagger but Sunrizer as an AU will be super sweet!

Dont forget about impaktor, as we spoke some time ago ;-)

  • Gary Numan’s got a nice sensible twitter feed. Not irritating, not bulky, not pointless, I think he’s got it about how it should be. It was one of the very few that survived a huge cull I inflicted a while back.

  • edited March 2016

Dagger on iOS is extremely awaited by me, I already have it on desktop and it is a blast to use (fast tweaking, raw sounds, cool modulation, kinda feels like hardware...)

And please @giku_beepstreet, would it be possible to update impaktor with IAA sync, link or AU ?
As it is, it's a little frustrating to use (exporting audio loops in in a daw or a looper), which is a shame, because impaktor is certainly one of the most innovative/crazy/uber cool synth on iOS !

It would get sooo much more love, and I'd pay happily a good price for that update or new version if it's more convenient (but don't change it too much !!!)

  • A good sequencer, yes. Like, say, just a little polishing update to the mighty iSequence....

  • Hear! Hear! ...... +1 on that one Johnny.

    Yep with that one :)

Same here. I love Sunrizer, and I'm excited about Dagger coming to iOS.

Could not have said it better... Impaktor needs some love!

  • So today I finally deleted Figure, because Skram scratches the same itch better in landscape :)
