Piano App advice for beginner.

Can some kind person please tell me if its possible build an iOS App that loads midi files and has an inbuilt piano soundfont or such that can play back these as AUDIO? I have seen very similar Apps around but don't know how to purchase these sound sets for use in my own App. ( such as CMP Piano and Piano 3D)
What are the main decent ones available to buy and are there open source / free ones around?
Probably VERY obvious to most but... Im just getting started.

There are many apps like that but if you're just beginning try Bismarck B-16. Very good and stable and inexpensive. MIDI in from external controllers
It is sound font based 16 midi channels and you can change channels if you want
I forgot to mention it plays midi files too.
Sound Canvas is worth a look.
Will GarageBand allow importing of MIDI files? The pianos are quite good as I remember.

CMP Piano is a very nice sounding sampled piano. I have yet to use the midi file player as they are only loaded via iTunes, which sucks in this day and age.
