Nice to be able to test the interface, thanks! I was hoping to test out the practicality of the remote triggers so I'm out of luck but will be going for the pro full version in the future when necessity strikes.
@OscarSouth, thanks for downloading! If you like it please rate in the App store.
Cool. By trying it out I'm now up to buy on pay day
__wow!!! Love it!
Even the built in choir sound is so nice!
Thnks!
Hope to get separate midi put or the ability to select a different midi channels to group them would be so awesome too.
@Tones4Christ , thanks. I'm not yet convinced that separate midi channels per pad is a useful feature. How would you use it?
Have to agree with @Navichord here. Don't want to introduce unnecessary complexity into an app that "just works"
Is there a way to configure my own chords for the pads and trigger them with a MIDI controller?
I guess I can manage. Was trying use it with Midiband 3. This app allows you to have pre made midi loops be triggered by pads on the screen which respond to predetermined midi notes to trigger them.
So my idea was to trigger those midi loop pads in real-time while playing chords with the other pads in navichord which would be out going out their own midi channel.
Yet still have the built in keyboard allow me to do a melody. This would literally turn my iPad into a one man band . I guess one needs to know how Midiband 3 works to get my idea. Thanks anyway. I still love this app and will be buying it on payday.
@Munibeast not yet, but it is coming.
@Tones4Christ, thanks for clarification. I will check if I could add this in a nice way.
Please give it a good review then
Thanks to make it possible.
Definitely will do. Its so nice to have your participation here and to listen to our request however silly they may be, still we appreciate your feedback and the development of such awesome apps.

Great, I'm looking forward to that!
Gave the app a nice review. It deserves it!
thanks for the lite version,it convinced me to buy it
I was looking for a chord progression app but couldn't decide which one so i bought none....til now.I wish all apps would have a lite/demo version.
edit:first feature request:octave up/down button for selected/all pads.
@Crabman thank you. The reason there is no octave stepper for pads is to avoid confusion with chord voicing control. This is a design decision
ok,no problem.I can live with that
Awesome app nonetheless,i already left a 5* review.
@Crabman , thanks, reviews help a lot
Need some help:is there a way to"learn"chords (and store on the pads) from external keys/controller?
In this video you used a keyboard but i can't find a setting for external midi input.
In my case i wanted to send some notes from cubasis but it only show up as destination in navichord.
Also, the"pick up scale"doesn't seem to work like in your video.I only can pickup a scale when i use the pads or the...ehm...circled but not when i press a chord on the bottom keys.Or did you change this in version 2?
@Crabman , there is no menu entry for midi input because it is always enabled. It should be fine to connect a keyboard and use it for chord entry. Make sure the MIDI output switch is also enabled (actually this switch controls both input and output - I will make that clear in the next update).
Notes from Cubasis should appear automatically. I've accidentally tested it recently with MoDrum (drums on piano, that was weird).
Scale change should work for both pads/grid and keyboard internal/external. Please make sure the scale refresh button is ON (it is different in the video, I reversed the logic of that button). Note, scale change will work for major/minor chords, not for all of them.
Hey @Crabman , did it work for you?
sorry had a lot of work the last days but i'll try later. Thanks for taking care
I have another request though:I made a lot of own (chordpad) presets and it would be nice if we could access them via itunes filesharing (for backup)
@Crabman iTunes file sharing is planned for the next update
What would it take to let Navichord work in Audiobus?
Navichord on sale! I'm grabbing it. Thanks, Navichord!
Happy Easter everyone!
@Tones4Christ, please clarify the problem. Full version of Navichord should work fine with Audiobus.
Thnks got it working
I'm really enjoying Navichord. Is there a possibility for a future update that allows you to have a diiderent kind of onboard keyboard? Sort of like Naves and Animoog that you can be a bit more expressive.
Keyboard can act as MIDI XY pad, goto Settings/Performance/Keyboard Control Y, then select Modulation Wheel.
Then, hit a key and slide up, you should hear more modulation in the output. Same can be done for other messages. If you are using external synth, please check what kind of messages they support.
Is that what you mean by "more expressive"?
Yeah!! Cool thanks
