Neat, looks like a bit of Figure thrown in there as well.
Yeah!
But you can "roll your own" here , unlike figure
I don't think it's really a gadget competitor you can only have 2 patterns per instrument and you have to manually change those.
Ha ha ha... If it's a competitor to Gadget, then I'm a competitor to Dr DRE man !
Frankly, this looks (and sounds) awful... I wouldn't download it for free !
It's more of a rhythm studio competitor. And is half finished as is. Hopefully my money helps develop it further. I don't doubt it will. But yeah as is, it's not much.
What is here is good though.
I like the look of the units. It's cool having them all on the same page able to be controlled at once and I think it sounds pretty good. But before any iaps I hope we get some substantial updates to the basic functioning.
I'm sticking with Gadget.
Seems most unlikely - as it is.
Hi everybody!
Those are all great apps, we really love the whole iOS music app scene. There's so many innovative ways of creating music that have emerged in the past couple years, whether it's for isomorphic keyboard layouts, playing around with harmony and counterpoint, slicing loops or playing with synths and drum machines.
It's really great to hear your feedback about what you'd like to see in the app! We do a ton of research, but nothing beats an honest discussion.
We created this thread to gather all the conversation in one place, if that's perhaps easier?

Thanks again,

That's more what I see it as, if anything. It's sort of like Rhythm Studio with Figure's built in make-some-music-right-now rhythms/arps. Think if you downloaded this expecting Gadget you'd be real sad—it's a totally different (as yet, much smaller) beast.
I imagine this is going to grow to be something pretty powerful.
I couldn't buy it until it has either IAA or audio bus , I want to use my other apps with it too scared it will be another table top lol
Thanks guys. Yeah, I actually coughed up the $5 and bought it.it seems close to "Figure" for now....I think in time it's gonna get real interesting.. But right.. It's no Gadget..for now at least.
I don't think it's trying to be Gadget, which is also a whole lot more expensive than this. I'm interested to see what they do with this, so have ponyed up at the intro price.
Looks ago to get some grooves out for other apps..but wait..you cant!!!
MIDI?
Not yet! But most definitely on feature wishlist.
I reject the viewpoint that Gadget is king, perhaps more like a tyrant, or a pretender, or a ghost.
