(Sometimes) Clicking noise by using Audiobus with BIAS and effect apps
If I use BIAS and an effect app (for exemple EchoPad or Flux:FX) in combination in Audiobus, sometimes, there is a click / clicking noise. It is no problem of CPU (it is at max. 40%). It is also no problem of sound volume (clipping or something like that) because the problem does not occur at the max sound volume. I think, it is a problem of the app(s) (Audiobus?) because the problem does not occur everytime I start the iPad and use Audiobus (but if the problem occurs, I do not know, how to get it away). It does not occur not regularly, perhaps around every 20-30 seconds. Do you have an idea what to do?
I use an iPad mini and the newest IOS-update and app-updates.
Comments
I have the solution... It was a latency problem. If I use 512 instead of 256 in the audiobus-settings, everything works.
IOS9 has been implicated in this sort of thing, especially with USB interfaces.
