  • did c3n get panning?

  • Nice site. I've been looking for a good iOS news site and this one looks great.

  • Interesting app. I believe in the loops app you find two groups, the typical grid type ( launchpad, lp5, remixlive, bangers) and the non grid types which typically get inspired in thr multiinteraction of the loops in the "reactable" style and much more experimental. Looks like both kind of apps have space to leave into IOS ecosystem.

  • the dev is very responsive, they are looking into the panning, it's a good sign

  • Looks like it has potential, but wary of another Skram. Does anyone here know the following -

    1. Does this app already have IAA and Link? If not, will these be added soon?

    2. Are IAP sample packs available?

    3. When using sounds provided/ purchased who owns copyright of the results? In other words, is the app a remix toy, or can it be used like Launchpad and Blocs Wave to make music which is then royalty free?

  • As @kobamoto said, this app has a very responsive developer. Late Sunday night, I got the following info -

Link is scheduled for version 1.1 and IAA is also to be implemented, in future update.

There aren't currently loop packs specifically for C3N Loops, but the developers say packs from sister app C3N Play will share it's free content and IAP's.

Loops used are considered as part of our (the customer's) production process, so we own the copyright to whatever we make with the app.

The app is being aimed at pro music makers. Which I take to me those with a serious attitude toward what they are doing, as opposed to being a mixing toy.

  • The app is good. I think it conceptually is a slight variation. It seems to waste valuable space that could be used for another purpose or sound generation.

As in, have some circles have key and/or midi control etc.

I would just like to see some sort of "Sector" type MIDI control or loop slicing and reassignment.

    This app is also universal.

    Both great ideas.

    great ideas

  • Been fiddling with this today, and enjoying the fun. With a couple of thoughtful updates it could be great. I may just be doing something wrong, but I'm finding it impossible to permanently change the parameters of any loop. Either individually or within a 'mother-ship' circle. I can drag out the volume, and other parameters. But as soon as I let go, they snap back to where they were.
