Yeah Emo chorus is great, hope that and Tap Delay go AU.
anybody use their reverb? thinking of buying it, but curious to what you guys think.
I'm intrigued by emoChorus, Is there anything close out there?
I picked Addictive Micro. Can't skip an iPhone synth + arp.
I have it, doesn't compare to the versatility of Emo Chorus or Tap Delay. It is just reverb after all, but I prefer AltiSpace for iOS or else a desktop plug.
Yes! It's one of my favorites - I probably use it even more than the AUFX: Space one. I can't fully articulate why I favor it over others, except that it's universal and seems to work well enough with older devices (even to use with live guitar input). I think it's $4.99 right now on sale. The presets are good and it's very easy to use.
Actually it is the most versatile reverb i explored on iOS. My favourite one too. It has some parameters to handle the early reflections and a lot to achieve your custom tail etc.
I like to combine it with AUFX:Space for a lush out of space reverb.
yes and possibly one of their best sounding synths too, not as versatile as Tera or Poseidon but much easier to get a really rich sound out of it
My bad. I should've just said 'I don't like it the best'
No problem, i also prefer reverbs from my osx plug-ins. Still no really high end reverb on iOS.
So here is place for new apps. I can live with the price of high cpu usage and no live changing of parameters if the result is worth it. Reverb is the most important thing for me.
Almost all iOS reverbs sound a bit metallic and tiny or getting just noisy instead of dense with extreme settings.
You can't have too many reverbs. I just got it add to the arsenal. I like it.
I'm tempted to get it. You have a point about Desktop reverbs over iOS. A favourite of mine on iOS at the moment though is Reverb FDN by Amazing noises. It sounds great and with all the midi controllable goodness plus Link this is really fun to play with.
How about Addictive Synth? That noise generaty thing it has intrigues. Does it still stand up or should I resist and save my pennies for z3ta?
I know nothing about anything, but I do know that Addictive was one of the very first for me and as a result I -of course- under-value it now and think it old hat and have deleted it off my iPad at least half a dozen times, but whenever I bring it back I'm far more impressed than I remember which suggests it must be me not it.
Nabbed Emo Chorus. Like it a lot more than I thought I would.
And, for $3 it's already given me more pleasure than the happy-hour margarita I would've spent the pesos on.
ps. can someone please tell me in laymans terms what the MultiFeed & Linear settings are doing in Emo Chorus?
Z3ta is much better in my opinion. it has a great range of sounds, and very tweakable
To be clear; if I had to choose between them it would be Z3TA all day long.
I'm just finalising a track featuring MicroTera through my new Emo Chorus - sounds awesome!
If Addictive Pro goes on sale I'm all over it
Tera is MODULAR with a pesky lay out.........like Zed
I think Micro Tera is actually most powerful for raw synth power of ANY Virsyn
