Link-enabled app with separate metronome out
I need a Link-enabled app that can route its metronome to a separate output (headphone out) using AUM or AB. Loopy can do this, but I don't like the sound of the metronome, and that I can't make it default to "on."
Any other apps that can do this?

I looked into this at length because I wanted to send a click track to my drummer. I ended up going with Loopy because it was the only game in town that I could find. I keep waiting for a free drum machine app to come along so that I can make a metronome with whatever pad he likes in his ear.

Paste a click track loop of whatever you want into Loopy and send that loop out of a discreet output.
Or paste a click track loop in a FilePlayer in AUM
By the way, the AUM 1.1 update (coming soon) will allow selection of metronome output to any stereo-pair or mono channel of external audio interface.
Perfect! I almost went with suggestion of running a drum machine app through headphones but don't like the idea of wasting CPU on that. I'm already running AUM!
Off topic, been using AUM a bunch lately. At first tried to avoid using AB to avoid two hosts. Quickly became frustrated by limitations of IAA, mostly that there is no way to send a few AUM channels into another app like Loopy. Now realizing the full benefit of AUM + AB. That is absolutely the best way to go, no zombie apps, full state saving, remote, infinite mixing options. iSpark's Ableton Link plays nicer when hosted in AB (I think it's using IAA host sync when hosted in AUM, with no way to opt in to Link).
One quirk, my saved AUM sessions don't remember midi routing to Viking synth AU. I have to open it up and point the right midi controller to it each time I open a saved session.
Next up, mapping Korg nanoKontrol Studio to AUM
+1
Keep us posted on that. I'm interested in that unit for exactly the purpose of integrating with AUM.
Or that!
