More Important: AUDIOBUS REMOTE or LINK?
This thread should be very illuminating for users as well as developers.
I expect strong opinions.
No brainer for me ----AUDIOBUS REMOTE
Comments
Link by a mile.
IAA state saving
and a half.
Link without question
Didn't used either really yet but i vote for link since an arp running out of timing is one of the worst thing!
What does your average workflow look like?
What apps and hardware?
Trying to understand not badger
Link...
Link is an absolute revelation if you play in a group setting with multiple devices (which I do). Even creating on a single device it keeps the apps playing nice together. Game changer.
I like Remote and use it. But it's a bit fiddly for my applications.
I don't have remote yet but wonder if I need it. I usually either want to trigger Rock Drum Machine or Patterning for my drums so what is working perfectly for me right now is Midi Link Sync app by Coding Cod. It works like a charm. I load up Patterning or RDM or FD, into AUM and AUMs transport does everything and they all play in perfect sync. I got Sampler to work also but not with AUMs transport, it only responded to Midi Link Syncs transport. Has anyone been able to trigger Samplr from AUM?
@Rustik Please, I asked you before not to create these threads that only only create drama.
@Everyone else: Please don't create threads that pit one developer, app or technology against another. Of course they''ll get views and there's going to be a huge discussion but this forum is not Buzzfeed and it's not Facebook. I really don't want to moderate these conversations that are always bound to escalate into people calling each other names.
I'm closing this thread for that reason. If you feel like you want to add a comment about it, send me a direct message. Please don't create another thread discussing this thread.
Thank you for being so understanding.
