Moodscaper out now

Been looking forward to this, no AB yet but mentioned on their Facebook page that they are looking to do a Pro version to include AB. Anyone else getting this, what are your views ?

Comments

  • Without AB it's a no go for now :)

  • No AB is like making a hardware synth with no line out sockets!

  • I can't even find it ??

    Link?

  • moodscaper by Rob Jackson
    https://appsto.re/gb/jHu5ab.i

    It's iphone only

  • From the App Store description:

Special note for serious iOS musicians: Please be aware that the iPhone version of moodscaper currently does not support IAA, AudioBus, AU, Link, MIDI, saving / restoring performances, audio recording or loading your own samples. However these, and many other features are being considered for future updates and a "pro" iPad version.

I think I'll wait for the "pro" version....

  • Fun for a couple of minutes.

But the documentation only on Facebook and too small to be able to read it.

Following the link to the devs website just sends you back to Facebook.

So overall not worth getting yet though it does have some nice tones.

  • At the risk of sounding like a skinflint, that's $3.99 too much for no AB, importing, recording, etc...
In 2016, why in the hell do developers even do this? It makes no sense.

Oops meant to press the edit button.....

Just to add that as far as I can see it just plays 2 Japanese pentatonic scales

    E A F B D and E A F# B Db over 4/5 octaves.

  • If that stuff was added would this be good?

  • The dude who developed it is Crème Douche. He has some great videos following the development of the app. And he did all of those awesome Borderlands vids.

no matter what I say before breakfast doesn't come out right.

Yup. And a) considered sounds a ways off, if at all and b) 'pro' suggests another purchase anyway...
