Efficiently acceptable as regards general purpose usage?

  • A shame they don't have any for iPad Pro Adult. :)

Yeah, I don't use mine as much as I could because my iPad generally resides in my Logitech Keyboard cover when not in active use, but they are sharp and work well. The "stickum" material is rated for 10,000 mounts before losing grip, as long as you wipe it down occasionally to remove debris with the provided cloth.

Good point. I wouldn't recommend them for live performance, as there's not enough resistance to persistent screen pressure - although there is an option to affix the bottom, which would solve the "scooting away" issue.

But for storage and display around the house while they charge, or as a second screen to a laptop, or maybe to fire up the ol' photo slideshow when entertaining guests, they really can't be beat.

Look and function just like they were made by Apple.

  • Does cat hair render them nonfunctional?

Nah. My three have done their level best to interfere - just give the pads a quick wipe once a week and they're fine :sunglasses:

  • I bought some adhesive tape called egrips to combat device slide. It can stick to the back of the device or any surface that's giving you problems. You can get it by the roll on amazon. Not cheap, but goes a long way.

I also use this thing called a breffo spider podium. Weird and not for everyone, but it comes in handy. It can be bent into a stand but I mostly use it to hang the iPad from a spare monitor in the studio so I don't wrench my neck looking down all the time. Very customizable and good for live situations.

  • breffo spider podium ?

Just the sound it would woodify Paul Joseph.

Very true. Defiantly sleek. Thanks for the link!

  • Black version for iPad sold out--I bought the silver. Will look sharp on my "kiosk." Thanks!

I admit to having worn it on my head, and feeling evil while doing so.
