Just add 3 names of cities to the title for more realism

  • Moscow, Oslo, Weston-super-mare

    :D

  • Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (it's a village in Wales)

  • Flint Lead Synth

  • To go a little OT, and forgive me if this has inevitably been covered before in the dozens of Gadget threads, can anyone figure out the meaning of the instrument names?

Chicago seems to be such a blindingly obvious reference to Chicago House (which first used the 303 that the instrument is based on) that it couldn't possibly just be a coincidence, could it?

But if that's the case, what the hell do the other names reference? Darwin might possibly be about evolving sounds, Kiev a reference to space? Salzburg can credibly be referencing Mozart, and then I'm stumped. Bilbao? Abu Dhabi?

  • They just finished ideas so they started using "I feel lucky" on gmaps

I see, so the meeting went like this: "Chicago" (great idea!, Nice one!), "Salzburg" (Not bad! I see what you did there!), and then... "Oh sod it, let's give up... Who's got a map?"

Cinncinati, Albuquerque, and Pocatello. One makes horn honking sounds, one does coyote howling, and the other makes potatoes...

  • I'm waiting for the Kansas City jazz ensemble gadget.

  • Can't believe there's not yet a Manchester :o

I miss real nice guitar sounds in Korg Gadget, and, if, the Gadget MUST be named Manchester though!

    Ha

  • Free today in New Zealand.

  • I completed the iDS-10 Mystery Bingo and now it added an iDS-10 synth in Gadget.

Although it's a apriljoke, I would really like some new Gadgets in Korg Gadget...

    A dedicated guitar Gadget...

    A dedicated Woodwind/Brass Gadget...

An redesign of the Glagow Gadget with categorys like in Marseille... To long list now to choose an nice sound/patch...
And also more sounds in Glasgow - I like real instrument sounds...

And, the awaited Sampler/audiofile Gadget! When Korg will we have that?

As others have said on here, audio file tracks would wreck the 'purity' (in terms of Gadget-mediated sound) of their Soundcloud environment, I have become skeptical that this will ever arrive, despite earlier indications.

But anyway I reject Gadget now because I feel like it forces me into easier sounds, simpler projects. We have a small paramilitary unit in the woods armed with Modsteps and we hope to overthrow the regime by Christmas.
