Midi Sketch: VERY COOL UNIVERSAL APP
Love this app. Got it the other day with the "package" deal on NS--1
Best MIDI implementation on IPhone to date for me. Universality is critical for me so I am 2 thumbs up on this app.
It was like $7.50 with the discount.

Can you say what you.are comparing it with when you say best implementation on iPhone. For me, oscilab, littlemidimachine and midisequencer are the best midi sequencers for the iPhone. But Id give this a go, there is still room for improvement.
Well, I guess I mean piano roll midi note entry.
I agree Oscillab is the bomb.
Little Midi often "bombs" out and is not worth using any more for me.
MIDI sequencer gives me a headache on the IPHONE LOL (zoom feature and all) - too intricate for me to use on Iphone.
No piano roll or ease of getting into notes and scales.
The reason I also like this is the simplicity and the ability to devise a nice little chord/note progression on the fly or in the car, and with little or no effort bang MIDI notes in the email to self.
No other app for me has the MIDI piano roll for more musically demanding things that have needs for specific notes and scales.
My use of it so far also seem that its "MIDI" navigation is keen. There is no diddling with channels and hooking it up. It's very intuitive and very primitive.
It is clip based, so you can just do a 2 bar solo and send the MIDI notes to any other app. I like that work flow.
I like it, but I can't use it— that purple on grey motif is unusable for me. Maybe I should send the dev a note about adding color themes. I'm not a fan of the NS-1's dark look either— looks cool, I guess, but I'd rather know what I'm doing.
