Thanks! I'm a big fan of those bands.

  • Very cool. Nice mix of sound and texture. I really like the richness of the guitar sound. So much happening but it still sounds spacious. Impossible for me to do that right now. Great work.

Thanks. I appreciate the comment. Mixing and mastering isn't easy for me especially since I'm effectively deaf in one ear. I do everything with the mono button on and visualize how it should sound in stereo without actually being able to hear it through the headphones. I have been paying more attention to EQing lately though, which helps to get rid of muddiness in the mix.

Thanks. Just in case you're interested the guitars were processed through a Boss ME-5 multi effects box, the first in the line from about '88 so it's all analog. I did use a digital DD-20 for the delay though.

  • outstanding!

  • Very well done.
    I dig kosmische musik.

  • I dug this, very atmospheric and for a sound scape that had a lot of "positive" sounds and major sounding melody lines there was some drama and melancholy to it too.

Very cool man. The delayed guitar worked perfectly against those pads.

  • Sounds good. The guitar phrasing reminded me a bit of Manuel Gottsching

Cheers. But as a massive fan I already have all of the Private Tapes on CD. It's a pity they are all out of print.
