  • New Design
  • Effects
  • Variable Swing

What's this? Afro Latin Drum Machine includes hundreds of authentic afrocuban and latin rhythms, with the possibility of modify, mix, add effects or improvise that makes it a perfect app for any musician to practice and jamming with.
Rhythms included vary from very known like Son, Guanguancó, Bembé 6/8, Merengue, Cha Cha... to more pure afro oriented like Makuta, Osaín, Orula, Rumba Obatalá, etc ... The list is huge also with tons of percussion sounds like congas, claves, shekeres, shakers, güiro, etc... It's possible to modify and create rhythms with any time signature. A fantastic app for any drummer or percussionist to practice the afrolatin language and a good tool for musicians and students.

  • Wow this is sweet?
Any plans to update the others Luis?

  • Pretty. Nicely done.

  • thank you for the update, will pattern export be far behind?

  • @LuisMartinez, great update! Is Link compatibilty under consideration?

  • I second both the previous questions :)

That would be nice, but IAA start and sync is flawless, therefore it is dead easy to capture loops (of any length) in AUM and enjoy the advantage of link. :)

Yes, bsantoro , future updates will include Ableton Link

  • can we for once leave kymatica out of this, will the app include audio export ?

people are going to start having to pay Jonatan royalties.

mmm AudioExport... d you really need it ? mmmm... I will think about it ;)

  • I have Funk drums, brazil drums, andafro latin drums, and yes I absolutely need it!.... when I get into a session with these apps it's never quick.... I always go deep with these apps building many patterns. It would be a huuuuuuge time saving workflow enhancement to be able to export a pattern and song as a perferct loop. Very helpful. and thank you for your consideration.

I agree with him Luis and I'm nothing like as clever, so I really need it :)

  • I can imagine having separate outputs for RDM inside AUM and applying different effects to snare, bass drum, toms, etc.... imagine?
