Auria - track 1 lower/quieter than other tracks

iPad4 latest ios8

The same clip of audio in track one is 4 DBs lower than other tracks. Anyone else notice this?

Sorry I don't frequent the Auria forums much. This is the only forum I check on a daily basis.

  • I'm on 8.4 and do not have the problem (just checked). Maybe a plugin on that track? Good luck.

    @nic_b_nice How do you see it's 4db ?

    I tried the following to check your problem:

    • I created a new AuriaPro project with two audio tracks. Both track faders are at zero, as is the master fader.
    • I imported an audio region on track one, played it and observed the track and master meter (and tried to memorize the peceived loudness).
    • Then i moved the region to track two and played it again

    => The meters and perceived loudness is the same independently of where the region is played. I then re-checked this with Auria Non-Pro.

    If you are comparing copies of the audio region, you could have accidentally changed the volume of that region when it was zoomed by moving the main volume using the handle that appears as semi-transparent round area in the top middle of the region. You should see a horizontal line near the center (since you mentioned 4db) representing this volume change drawn into the region.
