iPad iMac connection?
Hi,
I have an iPad air2 and a new iMac. I would like to run my guitar through Amplitube on the IPad into an Apollo twin interface and record into logic. What would be a good way to accomplish this? IRig HD and a cable into the Apollo, or iConnect4, or ...
I want to record 24/96 into logic.

You either go directly into the Mac, via lightining charging cable (ios9/El Capitan, but I am not sure about your preference of 24/96 here...), or with help of Music io/ Audiomux. Or you use a lightning-to-30pin-Adapter, plug an Apple A/V-cable (RCAs) into your Twin. Or you plug into headphone out with a MiniTRS-to StereoTRS, going into your Twin. The two later suggestions include d/a and a/d-conversions, of course, but you can choose your samplerates etc. inside Twin... Have fun!
Thanks animal! So get an iRig HD and come out of the headphone jack on the iPad via mini TRS into the Apollo. I think the other options would do only allow for 16bit recording.
