Bought Roland PD9 for Impaktor, how do use it?!
Okay so I got a pd9. Now abit confused how to get it working.
Do I set the polarity on the PD9 to trigger or 'Roland'?
Which input do I sent the output to on my interface? Do I need a mono to 2x mono and then plug that into the inputs on my interface? Or is it ok to send the output to just one input on my interface? Does impaktor work better with mono to mono single input or mono to dual mono input?

I think it will all depend on the interface you're using. I remember that Behringer UCA222 defaults impaktor to one channel (can't remember which).
I found no difference with the switch at the bottom, all sounds the same to me. Guess you could check dp9's manual online?
The rim on pd9 is not piezo (after googling) ,so it can't be used with impaktor. (Not without some mods) .Use a stereo jack to dual mono jacks cable and plug one jack to your audio interface (not to iPad's mic) . It should work.
Thanks guys, yeah I got it working but it weirdly only triggers from the very centre of the pad (about a 5 cm circle) or if I switch the jacks it triggers everywhere but the centre.. Ehh I'll work something out
