  • This has been on my wish list for quite sometime and still not sure I NEED it.

Money aside...would you rather have seekbeats or attack?

  • Seekbeats is absolutely one of my favourite apps. I don't have Attack but, having found Nave to be a little flawed, I'd say SB wins out purely for it's well thought out GUI and ease of use. The amount of sculpting it allows would be superb by itself but the randomize and snapshot features really make it a unique and essential app for me.

  • I can't comment on attack, but I got seekbeats about a week ago and it's now my go-to for electronic drum sounds. The sound sculpting is outstanding, especially for kicks. The pattern sequencer is pretty good. Runs in iPhone too, which is always handy.

Funny how often stuff goes on sale just after I buy. Oh well, for apps I like I'd rather the dev get full price. B)

  • Cool thanks for the replies. Being universal sold me.

  • hmm. seems so redundant with elastic on my ipad already. i don't know what to do. i want it but...... when is it going to stop???

There is stop, no round or over, only through.

  • I find Seekbeats & Elastic Drums compliment each other. There's quite a big difference between the sounds I produce with each one. When you consider the abilities of both, the combined cost is still very low.

    This!

  • And MoDrum. I hella like that one. Not as powerful as Seekbeats, but so fast, easy, and fun.

MoDrum is underrated. And you said the magic word...FUN.

  • And Bleep!BOX

  • Tweakybeat is good fun and now is Link enabled, by the Seekbeats dev

  • Er, am I out of line for saying that I like SynthDrum Pads? If that ever got Linked I’d be using it everywhere. According to the app store write-up since v1.5.0 it even has soufflé control (although I don’t think they’ve spelled it quite correctly).

Poor @nic_b_nice asks a question to try to narrow down between two apps, and we load him up with a dozen more choices. I hope he doesn't have a quick App Store trigger finger like I do.

  • @wim luckily I've become better at restraining myself from impulse buys!
