ThumbJam - Multiple Instrument slots
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong/different than I used to, or if something has changed in ThumbJam?
So......On the top of TJ. There is the icon that says Sound, 3 icons to the right of that is the Instrument slot icon. Two rectangles together. I used to be able to choose 3 different instruments, or two or 4. And have them all play the SynthMaster preset(s) I choose.
So now, when I bring up Synthmaster or another synth, I mute Thumbjam to just hear the SM preset, go to Instrument Slots and choose for example Flute in 1:, Cello in 2:, and Banjo in 3:. The only slot/instrument I can hear SynthMaster on is the first instrument I choose, this example flute. Can't hear anything in other slots. If I make the flute all 3 slots, I can hear SM good.
I don't remember needing to do anything special or different when I did this before? What am I missing/forgetting?????

Synthmaster is not multitimbral so it only receives on one midi channel at a time depending on which midi channel you have selected in SM. Each of TJ's instruments only sends out on one MIDI channel so unless I misunderstand what you are saying it sounds like everything is working as it should.
Ah, yes, you are correct. I tried it with Alchemy and it worked perfectly. I had thought I did it with SM, but obviously not.
Thanks!
