    Just watched 15 secs of the video and already saw it is too light and moving around the table. No good starting point for a promo video IMO.

    Yeah...it seemed flimsy to me as well, but I can probably brace it to the point where that would be acceptable, but if the pads are crap, it won't be worth the time or cost.

    Comments about Simmons Stryke6 iPad Drum Controller:
    The drum pads work as a MIDI instrument and will be recognized by GarageBand but the iPad app crashes. Tried all sequences of installation/re-installation and three different iPads of different vintage to no avail. The app version is 1.0.0 from 2014. Called Simmons support and they told me that they know about the problem and recommend returning the product as they are not working in a fix. The glowing video is miss leading. You will find a lot of reviews like this one if you search the internet. Unfortunately I did not do my research before buying. A pity as the product as described in the video was exactly what I wanted.
    BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Thanks for the heads up on that Morris! Concept seemed good enough, but I'll save the cash in this case.
