Kudos to the Developers

Last week was rough for me. When I first got my ipad i did not know which apps were the ones to have and which ones sucked so in the beginning I did not know which way was up. I did in fact request a bunch refunds, with this in mind. itunes permanently disabled my account. So I had to create another. I had spent so much money on the apps that were a necessity. There was nothing I could do about it. So I reached out to the developers and some sent me codes for their apps, while others stated that there was nothing they could do. I'm not going to list the bad one as there are 8 of those, but I will give kudos to Apesoft, Yonac Inc, Marinus J.G.(Drum Perfect Pro), Alexaqnder Gross and Mediagroe. These developers stood by my side when I had lost everything and in fact when these guys design new apps in the future I will buy them whether I need their apps or not as my way of showing my support. When I sent out to the other developers them saying they have no control and cant do anything to help me. It is one thing to ignore my emails, but its another to lie to me and because their were some who sent me codes they were lies. But I still will be forced to buy them all all their addons. Even with the kind developers, I estimate my loss around 540$ which will purchase over the next year as I can afford them. To those who helped me.   • It doesn't seem very fair to turn this problem into a 'good dev-bad dev' thing, when really it was Apple who fugged you over, not the Devs.

  • Why should the devs give you anything? You paid for an item which you received . The fact that you lost the use of the apps is nothing at all to do with the Developers of the apps.

    Very kind of the Devs who gave you codes but the rest are not lacking morals and values because they won't give you free stuff.

    The real point is, you sought to use apps as a 'try-before-you-buy' scheme by abusing the refunds system and were rightly censured. It's sad that some devs fell for your antics. Kudos to the devs who weren't taken in... as, I'm sure, the majority of this forum won't be.

    I'm closing this thread and banning because buzz98 made multiple threads about this, said developers who didn't send him free promo codes to lack morals and values after he abused the refund system and now stirs up more drama with a thread like this.

    Send me a personal message if stuff like this is happening with background info about what the previous conversation was like. I'm going through the flagged posts as well, but usually I need a bit more background information to really take steps, because I don't want to be too strict.
