Sorry for the shameless self-promo, but we just published our new video, we like it, hope some of you may like it too.
For the sake and integrity of this forum I must add, that I did use a couple of iOS apps (Audibus included) in the making of this song.
Thanks for watching!

Thank you Sir! :) In this song I used Patterning and Nord Beat to drive my Nord Drum 2 and record the beats, then treated some of the loops with WOW filter (via Audiobus). Also starring were the Mopho x4 analog poly, the Teeange Engineering OP-1 and the microGranny sampler. And of course Andrea, taking care of all the vocals. :)
Recorded, mixed and mastered in Reason 8.

  • Everyone who took the time to watch and comment: thanks a million. I'm kinda speechless reading the feedback. I'm humbled by your words, I really am. Thank you.

  • Impressive! I'm interested in knowing about the making of the video. How long did it take to compile? Anything you might want to share, without giving too much away.

Thanks! I'd had the concept of reverse-erasing in mind for many years before we (2 x band members, 2 x friends who are into film making) finally made this film happen a month ago. Several friends and family members (my three sons included) threw in their creative talents by the means of drawings, portraits and masks. All this on a pro bono basis. Shooting took only a day, the location was our apartment and the rooftop of the house we live in. Props, tools, sets: we used what we had at hand and what we could borrow. Several ideas that made it to the final version were conceived as we were proceeding with the filming - both guys behind the cameras and lights became obsessed with the whole thing, in a very good way, and suggested some new scenes, angles, little tricks. Post production took like two weeks. Total cost: under USD 100. Low budget, that is. :)
    Thanks again for the feedback.

  • Wow & kudos to the whole team.
