Lo fi app
Helo there fellow audiobusers, I would like to find an app that will put in the fx slot so as to filter with noise sounds, my instruments. So I need vinyl noise, radio frequencies, tape hiss etc.
There is a site http://mynoise.net/howToUseSoundMachines.php that on his main page recreates these sounds, but their app has no relation to this as it has soundscapes and ambient drones, and no AB.
Any suggestions?

There's still a surprising lack--even absence--of apps for emulating vinyl, tape, vintage samplers, etc.
MasterRecord can add some vinyl and tape emulation.
TapDelay for tape hiss etc.
blamsoft bitcrush is rather versatile
Subtle amounts of fx. You want a full clean signal and some really low dirty fx - easy to do in AUM.
Flux does a bit of this
This app has amazing tape simulation and noise. I think it is the best on iOS.
I have just purchased this- but it has not appeared in Audiobus?
Its an Audiounit. you need an AU capable host like modstep or Aum.
Got you- thanks.
You can also just get recordings of those things and loop+mix them on top of your source material via AB or AUM or whatever. Adding tape hiss won't make your pristine synth part sounding like it was recorded to tape, of course, but it's a step.
AUFX Dub has variable tape hiss amount slider. It also saturates really nicely. I wonder if you were to set the delay time to something like 5ms, zero feedback and made it 100% wet if it would get you pretty close to tape sounding. Then move it back 5ms in your daw.
